I have been
in contact in the last couple of years 2007 to 2008 with Gowards
in Emley, and I really plan to go there and meet them
this year 2009

It’s a bit
sad that there is nothing I can report about UK Gowards.
Two tiny things:
The Church
of St Peter & St Paul Wisbech has apparently a
couple of Goward connections:
The West Window.says “To the glory of God this window is
given in memory of a beloved father, by his only daughter WILHEMINA NICHOLLS
GOWARD 1918”
The Pulpit,
which is apparently in green/pink/white marble, says .
“To the glory of God and in memory of JOHN GOWARD and NANCY his wife this
pulpit was erected Ad 1904”
The Index
of Market Harborough’s Worl War 1 servicemen seems to
shows that Goward E.E. died 23/3/17 in
I bought a
book called “the world book of gowards” for I thonk $20
about 10 years ago. It listed Gowards
in telephone directories as follows:
